This is the backdrop for Adrian Piper's webpage. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was the 'Da Vinci code', but when examining this web design closer it becomes a distant thought. The grid is what initally triggered that thought with the human sculpture placed in the middle. However the sculpture appears to be of a spirit or God like figure from the religion of Buddhism.

This image mixes and uses facets from different religions, ancient mathematics and science structures, a randomly assembled black and white old war plane that is for children to play in and the oldest body of them all, space. I love the choice of the images used together and find that even the colours are mesmerizing. All the structures in the this image have solid history and stories behind them and I really enjoy the way that they have been assembled together.
